So I'm a big fan of the movie The Fountain, and was thinking about getting a tattoo based around it. In the film, the main character has black rings around his arm, one for each year that passes, like tree rings. I haven't seen any The Fountain tattoos out there, but I have seen one other tattoo based on the tree ring concept (PIC).

The downside of a tattoo like this would be that I would feel compelled to get a new ring added for every year I'm alive. Also, I'm not a tree-hugger. Thoughts?
